Forty days of celebrating… that is a lot to plan, I know this. The ambitious planner that lives in my mind had decided that the calendar for James’ birthday would be done and scheduled by Christmas. I was forced to wait for his travel schedule to be completed. I told myself to wait until New Year’s… then the 8th… then the 15th…etc. Then, as the 24th loomed, plans had to change (I cannot divulge details as this point.) I had to let a little bit of control go for my own sanity. So the calendar is not entirely set in stone, and I’m letting the universe be my guide.
Monday, you have arrived once again. Back to the grind… back to being responsible adults with small children. Boo. I felt as though the universe was telling me that this Monday needed a little fun to kick start the week. A gift scheduled for later in the month was pushed up. For Day #2, of Forty Days to Forty, a customized Pop Tart Box! James loves pop tarts, in all of their manufactured, chemical-preserved pastry glory. Did you know that you can make your own customized Pop Tart box??? How cool is that? Originally, I was doing research into new flavors of Pop Tarts, because James always has to try the newest flavor, right Jeremy? Instead, I made my own box! I highly recommend this idea, it was a big hit with my birthday guy. Cheers to you Monday! We embrace you… with warm gooey strawberry filling.

It even has his face!
